I have been trying my whole life to loose weight and not untill lately I started using a low carb diet similar like keto and LCHF to loose around 40 pounds. I just finished traveling as a registrant for a Dr. of neuroscience from the University of South Florida, David Diamond. I think you would be very interested in his science. He has a video on the USF website, called the Obesity Myth, that is actually a dinner meeting directed towards the medical profession. He not only espouses the low carb life style, he points out that the low fat diet is actually killing us all. I think if you get a chance you should check him out… he has the science to back his claims.

What kind of vegetables can I eat? Some sources say that peanuts, peas & beans are restricted or somehow forbidden. How about carrots?
